Drake Bay and Corcovado National Park
Located in Los Planes, 4 kilometers inland from Drake Bay, surrounded by tropical rainforests, Tesoro Verde welcomes visitors into its active community. Multi-day tours to Tesoro Verde include trips by boat to Corcovado and snorkeling at Isla del Caño. Tesoro Verde's Rainforest Reserve has its own zip-line canopy tour.
Tesoro Verde Lodge
Housed in a former National Park ranger station, the lodge has 6 rooms with shared baths, comida típica, guided tours to the San Pedrillo entrance of Corcovado, Isla del Caño, and local waterfalls, dolphin tours, private rainforest reserve.
Getting There
Drive or take a bus or shuttle about 5 hours south of San José to Sierpe, where you take a 75-minute boat ride down the Río Sierpe and into Drake Bay. In Drake you will be picked up and taken to Los Planes by jeep. Or you can fly directly from San José to Drake on Nature Air, take a short boat ride from the airstrip to the village of Drake, and get picked up and driven the 4 kilometers to Tesoro Verde.
